Many users are avoiding bug-reporting, due to it's often very technical approach, using long, technical terms and a huge input form. "BUGS" offers an easy-to-use and understand wizard when reporting bugs.

"BUGS" offers a step by step "wizard", with pre-determined choices, where users easily can see where they are, what they are doing, and how long it will take to enter the bug report.

"BUGS - the Bug Genie" is an open source enterprise level issue tracking system, built on open source technology. "BUGS" enhances your development process, by offering an advanced tool to manage bug reports, feature requests and user feedback for your products. "BUGS" requires a webserver (we recommend Apache) with PHP installed (PHP 4 or 5 supported), and MySQL (4 or 5 supported).

BUGS 1.9 has been released!

Highlights of this release includes:

More options in report view (time, attachment, percent)
Detailed report view, includes description (useful for accumulated reports)
The french translation has been updated (thanks to Jeff Fortin)
Added Spanish (Latin american) translation (thanks to Sebastian Arechederreta)
Added tango and tango_alternate theme (thanks to Jeff Fortin)

BUGS 1.8 release

BUGS 1.8 will be released May 15th. This is the (for now) latest release in the 1.x series, featuring necessary bug fixes and a few new features, such as support for MS Exchange servers for email notifications (bug #324), email notifications for new messages (bug #451), and an option to deactivate system comments (bug #423).

New project website

Our website has been updated with a fresh, new look, which should be easier for users to read and navigate, as well as hopefully provide some more, updated content.

BUGS 1.7.2 released!

Today, the BUGS development team released version 1.7.2, a security/bugfix update to the 1.7 version released May 10th. 1.7.2 features fixes for bugs #320, #328, #345, #359, #361, #362 and #369, as well as other improvements.
