28th February, 2013 – The Bug Genie team is proud to announce the immediate availability of The Bug Genie 3.2.5 - the final bugfix release for our 3.2 series. The main focus of 3.2.5 has been general improvements and polish;
making sure features work as expected; removing "papercuts" and annoyances and speed improvements during general usage.
We've worked our way through a long list of outstanding (and newly reported) issues, fixing as many as possible with the goal being to provide you with a smoother, more stable and faster experience when using The Bug Genie.
Update 4th March, 2013: A slightly updated version, 184.108.40.206 has been uploaded, replacing 3.2.5, fixing a couple of issues that could cause errors after upgrading. Please download the updated archive 220.127.116.11.

The Bug Genie 3.2.5 contains fixes for several important security notices. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this version.

TBGSN-002-1 CVE-2013-1760- XSS vulnerabilities in input parameters
Several input parameters in TBG are vulnerable for XSS injection. For more details about the security implications and their fixes, please see the security notice which also contains links to the issue reports.

This release contains a large number of fixes and improvements, including improvements from our newest contributor, Sharron Denice. We want to thank everyone that has contributed to making 3.2.5 a great release.
- Issue lists now benefit from more aggressive loading of metadata, making longer lists of issues much faster. Simple benchmarks show a noticeable speed increase of about 60-75% when loading long lists of issues!
- Several search issues have been identified and fixed
- A long-lasting issue with confirming user accounts have finally been fixed!

You can upgrade to version 3.2.5 from any 3.2.x version (3.2.0, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3 or 3.2.4), as well as from 3.1.8.
For users running 3.2.x this is a "drop-in replacement". This means there are no specific upgrade steps necessary - just unzip into your existing installation (overwriting files when prompted), clear TBG cache and you're ready to go.
If you're upgrading from version 3.1.8 you must read through the upgrade instructions.
If you're running an earlier version of The Bug Genie (earlier than 3.1.8), you need to upgrade to version 3.1.8 before continuing.
